What do you use to store your knives?

I have several hardware display cases used to house my collection (Barlows). For my EDC, they (about 7) live in a wooden box on my dresser.

I used to do this:

Very nice Mr. noodle. That exact same method is on my to do list. I want to get the Griplatch drawers on the 26"x16"? Box. I may need to double check the specs, but that might be the same size, 6 drawers and a hinged lid.

I used to chew on Cigar's, so I had a lot of wooden cigar boxes. I don't know how many wooden boxes I have but a good many, and they are full of knives. Always put oil on the inside of the boxes very liberaly, put the knives in there, and have never had a problem. I'd buy a new knife, oil it down really good, and put it in there. That way for bout 25 years now.
Regards,
John

This, until my ZT bag shows up for all the ZT knives (of course). I went with B&W cases. Less expensive than Pelican and offers different sizes, but still with pluck-n-pull foam.:D Oh, and shout out to zyhano who inspired X4CTO on Youtube and gave me the idea for B&W cases.

Right now I use a sackup to hold my meager collection, and all my sharpening/maintenance stuff i keep in a tool box. I just found this weekend an old briefcase my father used at one point so I'll be turning it into one like the OP.

And Powernoodle could open up his own store with that collection!! :p

Here and there. As long as they are cleaned and oiled now and then It's all good.
