These buildings were built at the same time my house was built. The construction started in 1891 and was finished 1901.What are those historic structures in the back ground of your images? Are they part of some historical preserve or museum or just remaining historic structures on some small farm?

Oh yes, absolutely. I love to just sit and watch these buildings, thinking of the skilled craftsmen who built them using nothing but handtools, mostly the axe! It's great to see that they have survived. I hope you continue to preserve them. What a great inspiration for hewing timbers.
