I am just curious to see what everyone uses their knives for.

I use it mainly for cutting down cardboard boxes, packages and food prep. I want to get back into fishing so I will be using them for that too.

I'm a plumber so:
Cardboard boxes .
Cutting plastic strap
Deburring PVC pipe
Cutting rubber and vinyl tubing
Prying out o-rings
Removing gaskets
Prying apart B-vent ( until I broke off the blade so I don't do this task anymore)

" don't start none, won't be none"

I use mine to peel tape off composite parts such as carbon fiber at work

Everywhere else the usual, including personal protection!

My knife uses: The usual.... opening mail, opening cardboard boxes and breaking them down, opening store packaging, scraping, digging weed tubers from the soil, opening HVAC returns, light prying, cutting tape, widening out the slit in USPS flat rate boxes to insert tabs, occasionally food prep, removing the pvc burrs on cut pipe, poking holes in glue tubes, cutting up plastic jugs, cutting wood, cleaning mud out of the treads of my tennis shoes or boots.... it goes on and on.

General things like everyone else is calling out:
Opening mail
Opening and breaking down boxes (my wife orders a lot of stuff from Amazon!)
Trimming wood and pruning in the back yard
Some cutting of food but I have several Japanese Gyuotos that I mainly use in the kitchen
Then a whole host of other minor things when I need to cut/slice/trim

What I don't do is any level of prying. I also carry a Alox Vic that sees more abuse on the screwdriver and awl.

Because my army boots are not cool enough looking on their own so I added a knife to put me over the top. Now everywhere I go I look cool, not only cool but tacticool.

I'm a pest control technician so I use it for de labeling spray cans. Also use it to stab holes into our chemical bottles when they're empty and have to dispose of them.
At home I use them to break down cardboard boxes and food preparation. I know a box cutter and a kitchen knife would be better for those tasks but that's no fun😆

I always find that interesting, and it comes up all the time in these "What do you do with your knives?" threads. Knife fans dont have good kitchen knives. Like "I used my Sebenza to slice some carrots." A Sebenza-priced kitchen knife is gonna be a really, really nice knife. why not use a nice kitchen knife?

Get one of those Japanese knife waterstones guys in here!
