What do you use your knife for?

While I no longer technically carry an actual EDC, I always have an easily accessible cutter handy. Like everyone else - my knives do a lot of mundane chores - boxes, sticky tape, letters, string, kitchen chores. More common now is pruning branches and trimming flowers etc. and other gardening taks. When renovating my house, I used my knife as a prybar to remove carpet staples from floorboards - gave me great confidence in the strength of my knives ! Usually nothing exciting - it only gets interesting when I take my knives bushwalking or hiking or camping which doesn't happen often enough these days... Jason.

I carry more then one blade. my main edc is a bm800 (afck) i use it most and for everything. it´s great for food prep. used it on x-mas to carce up a HUGE PIECE of a leg of a lamb as well as a lamb shoulder.
then i carry a sak8 sheeple friendly) and a trad slipjoint, either a barlow, a italian pattada, s-w- chinese folder, mariners knife, for fun and food.
southwest chinese folder turned out to be a pleasant surprise.
