Hey, if I wanted to begin collecting authentic antique Pilipino Muslim blades--where would you suggest I begin (short of taking a plane to the P.I. myself, LOL!)??? I mean, you own some lovely pieces--and I wouldn't mind owning a Tausug War Barong myself...

Sorry for the late reply but somehow I didnt see your post. Check out the links section on my site. Erik Farrow at EriksEdge.com has very reasonable prices but limited selection, Frederick's antiques has big selection but much higher prices. Also check out Kris Cutleries sandata catalog. Otherwise you can try ebay or gunshows and cross your fingers.
