What does double cut mean?

I am new to the knife lingo here on the internet and I have read on this forum about a blade being double cut.Can anyone tell me what this means?Thanks in advance.

Basically it's a bead-blasted finish.

Bead blast, semi glossy finish. Kind of has a greyish tone to it.

As everyone has said it's a bead blasted finish, it's called double cut because it is done with two different mediums, first a aluminum oxide, then a fine glass bead finish
