What does Sal carry?

Last I engaged with him at blade show it was a stretch. Also recall him proudly showing off the kapara at 2019 blade and handing it to me but cant recall if it was in his pocket. There seemed to be an extra twinkle in his eye with that one.

Doesn't he rotate through different Spydercos? I thought he liked to "try out" the new stuff before it goes to full production to see if anything needs to be tweaked.

He has CPM S150V Prototype, but it’s probably sitting in a drawer. You need to test drive as many new models as you can.

Eric and I have to carry and use upcoming models at all stages from prototype to first production article, so daily rotation is normal. If there is a mod needed, it will usually be more obvious when carried and used. As Jack mentioned, I almost always carry a small knife like a Manbug Leaf for discreet use. My general preference is for a blade about 4.0" and the Stretch 2 XL does get a fair amount of carry time. Local and foreign laws play a part in carry also depending on where I am. When I'm in Kauai, I almost always carry Salts.

It probably depends what he needs the knife for on a given day. A better question is who is the poor sole that sharpens all of them for him??? I'm a big fan, never had a Spydie fail me yet.
