I love seeing fellow Kentuckians!! I've been away from home for a while, can't wait to get back. My family comes from Matewan, WV where the Hatfield-McCoy battle took place. I hail from the Hatfields.

My avatar is a Humvee here in Iraq that a couple guys painted to look like the A-Team vehicle. We get our fun any way we can over here!
 
Corinthian Helmet. I've always loved Greek History, especially the Classical Age. A good symbol of Thermopylae, at least in my opinion.
 
Mine is a very angry doll in my bathtub. He chased me around my apartment for a good half hour...
I'll never forget that experience.
 
Just changed mine to the four elements the other day ( Earth, air ,water ,fire) as I like nature.

Previous one was a hiking spot.
 
4 years ago i had found my family after 24 years and decided my first trip to japan and first trip back to korea since i was born i would get inked. The swastika is a symbol for well being in life, and the trigrams represent different aspects of nature. While the shaded patter(mikiri) represent water, as well as the waves. There were a few concepts that i wanted, but was short on time, so they were opted out. This is a representation of who i am and filling in something i felt i may have never had closure with.

That’s beautiful ink, I have been think a long time about getting some work done myself. What caused you to be separated from your family for so long? May I ask?
I just recently met my father and my two brothers. I last saw them when I was 2. It’s a new world with them in my life now.

I don't know if you shed tears Et but everytime i got my mind stuck over something silly my grannies shove them away.At their 80's and be able to talk to them and have their special dishes made me a effin proud grandson
 
My avatar is a statue at the entrance for Grover aka Pismo beach California. He stands on 2 not on for! LOL hee huck.

that's great you were finally able to meet them again. I was adopted. i'm currently living in the states while they're in korea, so i'm currently working on getting over there so i can start having a relationship with them. if you get some ink done, make sure to post up some pics

I've read quite a bit of of it, but I'm a few months behind right now. Bit of a binge reader. ;)
