People will find all kinds of ways to spend irrational sums on things they like. Look at all the cash people will spend on sharp pieces of metal around here. I've spent far more than most on cars, watches, DVDs, CDs, and yes, knives. And don't get me started on how much I've spent on booze; it's incalculable.
 
without having watched the videos I can tell you that my watches say that I'm extremely intelligent and have great taste!
 
i have had same rolex sub for last 16 yrs. before then, i used to buy new watches every other year. usually they stop working.. or runs out of battery.. or get scratched up so bad i wanted new one. sure it's more money than i really would like to pay for a watch.. but it was a wedding gift from my father in law.. so i didn't spend a dime on it. well other than to have it maintained which is less than buying new watch every other year for me.
 
Don't care what other's think about me by what I have on my wrist. I've met plenty of a-holes flashing a watch to show off. :rolleyes:

I collect automatics because I like them and I can.
 
My gold and black Rolex GMT Master II says that I'm trying to show off. Which is why I don't wear it 99% of the time.

The watch normally on my wrist is a Traser Titanium Classic Chrono, which doesn't draw much attention at all given that nobody ever commented on it.
 
That's kinda how I feel and I only have Seiko dive watches. Yet I hate to spend money on a disposable watch that I cannot read at a glance and may not work after a clank against a wall. I don't wear them much these days because of the bling factor.
 
That was painful to watch, I watched a few of the vid's but never managed to make it to the end on any.

This guy is so poorly informed, has an awful whiny voice and full of BS, passing his opinions as facts.

According to that muppet the Omega Ploprof is not a current model and rolex are not sold in malls???? comparing a $2000 watch to a Patek?
 
My watch says:

I don't have the budget to replace the $100 G-shock so instead I'll stick a cheap band and a new battery on a Seiko Sportura and wear that instead.
 
Hey you guys, if you wear a Vacheron & Constantin Dress Watch you are a racist and haven't had sex since Regan was in office? I wear a Submariner so I guess i'm a F**k wad? I better sell everything my family has so I can get a Patek and than I can be accepted by this prick.
