What edc fixed blade should I get?

Buck 104 Compadre. 4.5 inch blade of USA made 5160 steel ( tough and very easy to sharpen) . Comes with a leather sheath and walnut handles. To save money it has a red paint finish on the blade instead of a satin but it works great. On sale at one of the most familiar dealers to us Blade forums members for $46.50 ( not sure if they are contributing dealer so I won't link)

White River Knucklehead is close.

It's a hair under 3 inches, but I suspect you'd get over that.

Doesn't have handle scales, but take a look at the handle and I think you'd agree it doesn't need any.

It does have a compact sheath, and comes in under your price limit which is pretty cool for a decent piece of S30V.

And it's made in the USA. Hit Whitty up over at USA Made Blade for one.
