What else do Kershaw nuts obsess about?

Hey guys,
Just wondering what else we obsess about here? Our Blade addictions are all well and good, but every now and then i get asked the question by someone: "is there anything else to you other than those knives you always carry?" and i thought about it for a while, and although i don't mind being pegged as the resident surgeon of my circle of friends, i do also have two major aspects of my life other than knives.

So i would like to see what else we have in common besides our obvious love for Kershaw both CS and Product?

here goes: my other two passions are drums and cars. i have the ability to go on ad nauseam on these two subjects. While i drive a scion xd, i am very involved in the minutia of car culture and technology. as for drums i have 14 years of experience playing and worked in one of the most prominent single music instrument stores in the US for many years.

Who's Next? (and yes i forgot to add the 's' to nut(s) in the title whoops

Photography, Nikon Cameras. I also study Krav Maga as well as Shotokan.

Music, guitars.

My babies:

Photography, Pentax cameras :p . FALs. Linux. Harleys. Mustangs.
YEARS ago I used Pentax cameras...MX, ME Super, K1000...(I even had one of those huge 6X7 Pentax cameras!)...All good cameras, but I really like Nikon better (as well as the old Olympus OM cameras). Right now I have a pair of the Nikon N90s 35mm autofocus cameras, both with the Nikon MB-10 "Multi-Power Verticle Grip" on 'em, and that's the best I've had so far. I like to photgraph my cats (Stanley & Lady May-Bug), and the autofocus & metering system(s) in the N90s are VERY quick and responsive.

I started out with a Pentax K1000, then moved up to a Nikon FE2.

Still have the Nikon, but unfortunately it mostly collects dust in the closed. :(

Too bad, the FE2is a very nice Nikon. Exercise it once in a while and then set it to B and release the shutter without winding it again before you put it up.

I'm into photography too, particularly Nikons. But I didn't limit myself to 35mm. I've shot everything up to a 12" x 20" camera and printed prints over 20 feet (on photographic paper, not inkjet).

If I could afford 'em I'd buy Leica's too, but i just collect little Leica accessories when I spot 'em.

Cars and motorcycles - particularly Italian. Ones I have owned/own: Ducati, Laverda, Fiat, Lancia

Love playing around with my guitar. I can't play like I use to........had my hand
cut nearly in half in a work accident. 4 surgeries and a year of physical rehab.:(

Mostly I love taking my Suzuki SV650S out and screaming through these beautiful
GA mountains.

Huh. Great minds and all that:

Italian bikes. I have 2 Guzzis (LeMans 1000 SE and SPIII), 1 Ducati (Elefant), 1 Laverda (Mirage 1200), and 1 Benelli (900 Sei) sitting in the garage.

But I also like:

  • Snub-nosed S&W Revolvers
  • Silicon Graphics workstations (O2, Indigo2, Indy)
  • Custom fixed blade knives

Your tastes are somewhat more vintage than mine. :D

3 Ducs (1975 860GT, 1991 907ie, 2001 Monster S4) and 1999 Laverda 750S

anyone object to picture requests if your obsessions are with tangibles? for example.

these are one of my better sets. Yamaha Birch Custom Absolutes in Vintage Natural Finish with A selection of Zildgian and Bosphorus (not in picture) cymbals.

Typical stuff...guns, cameras, flashlights, hunting dogs, old/rare cars (72 Corvette, 94 Acura NSX, 2001 Cobra), my HD Heritage Softtail Springer, old trucks and math. Yeah, math! Gann angles, Fibonacci Regression, MACD, all that stuff that makes my job so much fun. I obsess about my work! (do I need professional help?)

Yeah, you have a few too many hobbies. I'll tell you what, I'm in a good mood, so I'll let you send me all of your knives to help lighten the load of your obsessions.

Got pics of all of 'em...along with the now gone Honda S2000, 3 MGB GT's (68, 68, and 70), the 67 Firebird 400, and the 69 Chevelle SS vert. It may take a while, but I'll see if I can dig em all up...
