What else do Kershaw nuts obsess about?

so this may or may not show my age (23 for those of you about to ask) but does anyone here watch Red vs Blue? i realized its not so much of an obsession but an important element in my happiness at work :) http://www.redvsblue.com

STEEL

I am a dedicated Kershaw Knut. And I am also an unapologetic, unabashed STEEL SNOB!

I would love a Kershaw Blur in S90V, 9V, CPM 3V, and CPM M-4!!!!:thumbup::p:thumbup:

Hell, even, even plain old M-2!!:D:D

+1 on Nikons. I have a D200 and 13 pro lenses to go with it. My knife collection pales by comparison from a cost standpoint, but lenses don't cut worth a damn....

Glockmann, I took Shotokan years ago-good stuff, currently take BJJ and MT. Did you see the Fight Quest special Friday night where the guys trained Krav Maga in Israel? Nasty stuff, man. I was sore all weekend just watching the beating those guys took...I also like anything Heckler and Koch makes (nothing against Glock, though), labrador retrievers, and aside from Kershaw just picked up a Busse Battle Mistress (wow) so I've added another addiction to the list.

umm, besides knives?? Gimme a minute........

Motorcycles, sportbikes specifically. Used to ride dirt and race flat track, but after the surgery decided to stay on the pavement where it's safe.;) Hard rock and metal and really just about any music besides rap or country. PC gaming, even though i'm gettin' old:D and of course, my wife and kids which includes my golden retriever Ozzy!!

Cheers,
Jon

Yah, I really like Shotokan as a combat art. I took Kempo for a couple years, but Shotokan kicks its' butt, as Kempo is more of a tournament style, with alot of "fancy stuff" that really doesn't work too well "on the streets" unless you are REALLY quick. Shotokan is more of a "power-punch style", where Krav Maga really doesn't have a set "style", as it's based more on human reaction/action, rather than "set moves". Krav Maga is just nuts....That stuff even makes Shotokan act like child's play when it come to REAL fighting.

Yes, I've watched a couple TV shows on Krav Maga (including that "Fight Quest"), and both were pretty good..."Human Weapon" was the best.

-Bowling. Got introduced to it about 5 years ago, now I play tournaments as often as I can.

-Volleyball. Since I was about 8, still play competitively.

-Bowling

-in the beginning stages of restoring a 1970 Oldsmobile 442 W-30

Did I mention bowling? :)

I'm a closet custom knife fan, also vintage knives... but I also love Kershaws. I compartmentalize ;) as for all else... I love watches.

glockman do you mean kempo or kenpo
Kempo...I know that there are both, but are actually pretty much the same martial art. I took Kempo from Wayne Toy, here in Aberdeen many years ago.

You should look in to parker Kenpo I took it for a few years. An it has never failed me.

Let’s see:
Guns, Hunting, Hiking, and Cars.

It was the first time out since we dropped the engine in (full frame off restoration).

The ’69 is actually my fathers. He had one when he was younger, sold it to buy a house and start a family, and finally got another one.

My first car, which I still have, was an all original ’81 Z28 Camaro. I’ll see if I can get a pic up of it later:thumbup:

Edit: Here's a pic of my '81 when I first got it.

red vs blue is freakin hilarious! Donut!

well obviously knives lol, but i also like to collect Legos (my best guess is that i have somewhere over 1,000,000 pieces total. not sure though. i havnt had time to count. i just figure that with at least 3,000 to 4,000 pieces added each year for the duration of my life thus far (18 years) and a heck of alot more when i was younger, a million isnt a crazy guess :D :D).

some of my other obsessions are: Military (namely Spec Ops. love the SEALs), baseball (i listened to the first Reds spring training game of the year today :D :D :D :D i couldnt have been more happy), my cat Mikey, videogames (really getting into PC FPSs. CoD4 is simply amazing), videography.

lets see, one more, and the biggest prolly...................STAR WARS (the movies, books, videogames, soon to be TV, online forums, ect.).

My first car almost ended up being an '81 nearly identical to that one! Ratchet shifter, mean looking tires, a crack in the windshield and a trunk that wouldn't quite latch right, lol. Parents shot me down though, as the insurance for it would have been insanely expensive, and it had alot of aftermarket stuff and would have been extremely high maintenance for a high school student without much time to work on it. I hated them at the time, but in retrospect it was a good move to pass on it. I remember asking the owner, "Is it pretty fast?"

He looked at me with this sort of evil smile and said, "Fast? This thing will make you shit purple twinkies. Hop in, lets go for a ride."

To this day I have no friggin idea what that meant, but that was one hell of a ride! That car was wicked fast.

riding, I love quads, I'm itching my pants off to get on a snowmobile, so I can get up to watercross.

I ride a honda 300 quad and I'll take it out to Dumont Dunes whenever I can (which is not nearly often enough). I'll also head out to the River or Elsinore with the backofens for some kneeboarding and waterskiing (I cannot wakeboard, I just fail) we're looking for one of those ridiculous flying inner tube contraptions for the next trip. Anyone got one they don't want?

I used to be really into paintball, but that faded.

Still love cars, always have, always will.

this is watercross if someone wants to post the vid for me. (how do you do that?)
