I thought it might be fun to hear about the other things people here collect besides Busse family knives. So, whether its bicycles, guns, skateboards, baseball cards, or even other knives, you name it, tell us what else you collect.

I don't collect as much as I accumulate.:p Semi auto M-14 type rifles, CZ pistols, CRK knives, and now Busses. The prices on M-14 type rifles make Busses look reasonably priced.:D

Don't really collect anything, but I pursue off-roading, horticulture, camping and my XBox 360 which all lead to me collecting bills... :)

I could add small Spyderco Folders and the obvious, Swamp Rat Knives...

Firearms, Spyderco FOLDERS , John Ek Richmond's, I use to collect Olds Cutlass's, but I'm down to 1 now.

Harley memorabilia & tee's, I have well over 100 HD tee's, from allover the US and Asia, I only own ones from the shops I've visited. 1 a day from May till October.

I have 30 years of event patches, pins and tee's, mostly ones you can't purchase, they were free, but you had to be there to get one.

Also with the Spyderco folders and good Bourbon (which isn't "collected" so much as aquired and consumed)

Like Burf said, I don't really collect but accumulate, watches, flashlights, and fountain pens. I have distinctly other hobbies, but those are tangible goods I seem to possess more of than one might think I really need. Besides INFI of course.

Well I have this thing about bicycles… road bicycles. I’d have to count them but I’m sure I have more than 12. I also have my share of nice fountain pens, guns, and watches. I use to have a ton of Benchmades and still have a box full of Spydercos.

The thing that I’m starting on now is a comprehensive music collection that includes Classical, World Music and Jazz.

  OH how could I forget the Scotch, and wine:confused:

I collect Matau's, CD's, Vinyl (especially roots Reggae and Sinatra), Skateboards, pictures (if knives, cars, and pretty much anything cool), old lighters (just found some cool old pewter trench lighters), old books, and stamps.

CRK Knives...preferably older South Africans and rare (limited) and unusual ones.

But if one was to ask Mrs. Westllen what does her husband collects ...she would say "what doesn't he collect"

I would just have to respond and say "they are all necessities dear":D

all followed by a strange look or a thump!

I usually blame it on Jason aka "gravelface" and sometimes others as well!

:D

I accumulate a lot of books, both for my profession and just because I love to read, but it isn't a collection, so to speak. I don't really care if they're first editions or anything like that, although I prefer hardcovers simply because they last longer.

If I actually collect anything it is 1911s. I carried one daily in the Army and fell in love with the model, so I have way more than I need. The most recent addition is an Ed Brown Special Forces -- great ergonomics, but with the classic military look.

I love the M14 style rifle, the best ever in my opinion. I really want to an LRB arms one, but that would buy an awful lot of INFI, so it will have to wait for now.

In the knife family I collect D'Holder's, Randalls, David Yellowhorse in Case and Buck only and Case(older stags in the trapper, exotic stone and pearls in the toothpick mainly).

I also have a few... not really a collection.. of Chris Reeve's, William Henry's,
Chales May, DMK, Sean O'Hare, Wayne Hendrix, Elishewitz, and Don Lozier's.

I have several from less heard of makers from here in the SE but won't go in to those as many might not know of them.

If anyone starts putting pics up I'll drag some of each out and post some myself:thumbup:

Odd thing is since I started Busse in Dec. I have only bought Busse except for a couple Randalls.

Guns- mainly rimfire- Favs are My SW 41's, Anshutz 54, Copper 36 and to many others to go through.

Collect a few other things but Knives and Guns are my main things.

Flashlights and various EDC/survival gear, I don't think of it as collecting though.

I would probably be into guns too, if I lived in America.

I try to collect money, but it clashes with collecting knives... :grumpy:
