What else do you collect?

I didn't want to hijack the forum name thread so I thought I would post my collection here. I would be really interested to see what other forum members collect. Post some pics of the things you collect other than blades.

I collect shark's teeth and have been hunting them (teeth) for over 40 years. I probably have in excess of 5,000 teeth (the majority of them are quite small). I do have a substantial number of large megalodon, great white, mako and others. The photos below are a portion of my collection.

I used to collect Pez dispensers but that's a story for another time.

Very cool shark tooth collection. I used to collect vintage Gi Joes, from the 60s and 70s not those shrunk up little ones the 12inch ones. Lost most in a house fire. I've still got 30 or so out in my shop in storage. Now mostly working cowboy gear, 1870s style. Guns, lots of guns and tactical gear.

Cool thread and Cool teeth. Is there a particular spot you look for them ? I Also have a collection of firearms and three wheelers. Trikes as we used to call them before they were unfortunately banned. They were just a little before their time is all. Selling most of that stuff off now.

I have not found all of them. Some were bought, sold and traded. I also have a friend who is a diver who has helped. I searched the intercoastal waterway for years but my favorite place to hunt in South Carolina (I could find over 100 teeth on some days in the past) has been destroyed and turned into a Marina :(. There are fewer places that you can find them or are even allowed to look for them anymore.

I love G-Shock watches. I had about 19 but I sold a lot and gave away a few, now I have 6. I still love them, I just refined my collection to specific styles and features.

Skateboards- mostly longboards and old school cruisers. I have several different Hamboards as well and land paddles. Loads of fun on the boardwalk!

I didn't intend to collect them...but they are multiplying.
These are more custom versions of 'Hogs of Hope' (and a tag) donated to and auctioned by The HATE Project AKA The Hate (Dust) Project to raise funds for charitable organizations.

They all did a lotta good.

Shark01 that's an impressive collection. Here in SW FL there are still plenty of beaches to collect fossilized sharks teeth. Casperson's Beach in Venice has been dubbed 'Shark Tooth Capitol of the World". Not sure how accurate that is but you can walk along the beach and pick up teeth near the waterline. We've collected quite a few but most are small in the 1/2 half inch to 2 inch size. I've seen several divers come out with some big Megalodon teeth but I have yet to find one. Probably because I'm more focused on Snook fishing while at the beach and spend less time looking for Megalodon teeth. People will sell the larger teeth here but they are usually $100 plus depending on condition.

Love the shark teeth. I have a few smaller ones. I collect Geodes and the like. Guns,at least I like to say I do. 8 in the collection right now.

Shark it is funny you started this thread, I have been spending time doing an inventory of my Hot Wheel
collection last couple weeks. Never actually counted them before still not done either.
Only one car the 1967 1969 Camaro and Heavy Chevy body style and the variants-mistakes.
O2W better start soon so we can get our sanity back LOL

Shark01 : Pez dispensers......we just recently stopped at the PEZ Museum in Conn. Excellent!

Started out collecting vintage acoustic guitars....then moved on to Flashlights.......then to knives.

Wife says I collect "stuff" :D

Bourbon, Hummers, EDC gear. If you were too look around my house though you would think that I spend all my time collecting kids toys and strollers, lol.

Back in the day in West Texas we used to walk the newly plowed fields hunting arrow heads and other tools. Yellow House Draw was a wonderful place to hunt artifacts, that is untill the owner closed it off completely out of greed. :(

Also had a fun time hunting Bison teeth in the creek beds in Oklahoma one summer. The size of the teeth on those ancient bison is amazing, they dwarf modern bison teeth. I'd love to go there again someday, try to find a complete skull.

I also collect shark teeth. I'm on the upper Texas coast and was taught to look for them by my grandpa. As I got older I focused more on fishing than shark tooth hunting but have recently resumed the hobby. Very cool to see you collection.

Aside from the whole Knife thing... I began collecting Nazi militaria, eventually focusing on Transportation Korps insignia and the like. Don't have the money or inclination to buy more of the stuff I want with that, and sure don't have a place to display the high dollar stuff, so I began selling some of it off. I have a collection now of old school Death and Black metal shirts and sweaters, etc. that's pretty much what I wear when I'm not gussied up for work (Not that the guys who went to BLADE would know.... ;) ). Aside from that, I have a fairly small gun collection (13 and growing) most of which are old military rifles and such.

That's awesome. I didn't realize that Texas was a good shark tooth hunting ground. Some of the best places is the phosphate mines in Central Florida known as Bone Valley and maybe the most famous for awesone teeth is Lee Creek which is also a phosphate mine in Aurora, NC. That area has been closed off for the most part to artifact and fossil hunters. Most of mine were found in SC (intercoastal waterway) and by my friend who does blackwater diving in the cooper river in SC.
