Does any Spyderco with a longer blade than the Delica open with the same radius?
I have a gimpy thumb and the Delica is the MOST EASIESTEST OPENING knife in my stable.
I would like a longer blade.
I had both the Native and the Endura. The Native hole was too close to the handle and the Endura was too long a reach.

Any suggestions from anyone who can understand my goofily worded question? I would like a longer blade with the same opening ergonomics as a Delica.

Don't care for wave. I carry deep in pocket and get in position before I ever clear the pocket.

With your thumb, only you will be able to know what works for you. I have two suggestions for you to try however. The Rescue and the Centofante 3 or 4. I find the Rescue to be one of the easiest opening Spydercos out there and the Cent 3-4 is about the size and weight of a Delica 3 but has a longer blade. It also costs the same.

You will have to try it out to see if it works for you but that is a start. The rescue comes in many different styles so don't be put off by the first one you see.

Best bet is to go to a knife store and try different ones. I like the Pacific a lot for ease of opening.

HI Lavan,

Thei distance between the pivot and the opening hole on the Endura and Delica is only .050". Not much. The spring on the Endura is a tad stronger, which offers more resistance.

I think you need to personally handle a number of models and see what works best for you.

As mentioned, the Para blade is a little longer than the Delica4. Then the Stretch is 1/2" longer in the blade.
