Hey all, looking for recommendations. I have a few Emerson knives now and looking for recommendations on my next buy. I currently have a few mini commanders and a roadhouse. What next?

The Horseman is really nice and lends itself well to EDC tasks because of the blade shape. You'll like it especially if you like the Mini Commander.

I recommend the A-100, which I have. Good generic handle design for all types of grips. Blade is good design for general utility. I also have my eye on the Journeyman. Similar blade design but with a different handle design for a more positive grip.

If you want 'badass', go for a CQC-15; If you want utility, go for an A-100; and if you want a knife that best represents Emerson, go for a CQC-7.

I like my cqc-7 and I REALLY like my Commander, but for an all-around utility knife I go to my Journeyman. Some folks don't care for a medium size folder like the Journeyman but I find it to be the right size for me.

I've always been partial to the Commander (full size), it's got good weight, not too light and not too heavy, quick to deploy, and comfortable. Since you've got the minis you know the blade shape and what not.

CqC-7BW Stonewashed is a must have for any Emerson Collection it was my first Emerson. Its not the best EDC slicer type knife but damned it does not find it way in to my pocket often. It has a great feel in the hand for its simple handle styling and the way the stonewashed blade looks with the 2 tone is awesome.

The one I can't get out of my pocket is my 15. Highly recommended. Second choice would be an 8...or maybe a 7...can't really go wrong with any of the "mini's" either. :)

Nice thing with the "mini's" is that they have real handles, not some little thing you can only get a few fingers on.
