I used to buy stuff from Discount Knives of the Internet. Seems to be gone now. Any one know what happened to them (actually I was pretty sure it was "him")? Just curious.

I also used to buy from Skylands (skylandscutlery.com). I see they've moved to another state. Does any one know if it's still the same people? I haven't purchased anything from them for a while.

I also bought knives and flashlights from 1sks.com.

Had good buying experiences with all the above. Looking for a place that sells SureFire lights as well.

FYI: I think Discount Knives of the Internet was discountknives.com, but that was probably almost ten years ago.

I looked at the site but decided to check before I purchased and I posted that question. So I went there today to place an order and... the home page says he has retired.

Well, good for him. I wish him the best.

Okay, I guess I need to find a new retailer! I checked my records and I made a couple not-quite-tiny purchases (only a couple hundred $'s) from 1sks, so I'll try them (did I read they were the sponsor of this forum? If so, that seems fair, to pay them back for this useful service).
