Hey guys, I know basically what it is, but I hear people use the term, and I'm wondering what it means to each of you, the good Busse people. For example, a Hog says, "Yeah, he's selling a bunch of grails." Or another Hog says, "I have so and so knife for sale, it's a grail."

What the heck does that mean? What's a "grail" to you Busse folk?

It means nothing to me, since I don't use the term, but it refers to the ultimate sought after knife you are obsessed with, like those who would seek the Holy Grail.

The way it is used in your examples is just dumb, in my opinion.

Just something very desirable ,,,,,, thats not readily available. Usually the rare ones are concidered grail knives. But in the same respect, someones grail knife could be something they really want but can't quite afford,,,, regardless of availability. "One mans junk is another's treasure"

As we all know there is no INFI *junk*

The General concept is one of "The Search for the Holy Grail"

Some thing people search for but are not likely to ever find.

A rare or hard to find knife, usually very costly as well.

well I am sure this may be different to everyone else, but to me it does not have to do with price or availability. to me it is when you find the perfect knife; the one you have always been looking for.

Thats just me.

Yeah, I don't think they should use it to mean more than one desirable piece...it can't be plural.

"Just a flesh wound!"

For me, any old school, straight-handled Busse that I can get for $300 or less is a Grail. I've got three so far. :)

It's all about the quest. (and beating all the other Hogs to the prize) :D

A Grrrrrrrrrrail knife can only be found by a Kaa-nigit!

All this talk of Swine who seeketh a grrrrrail, 'tis stories of witches!

You mother was a hamster and your father smelt of eldeberries.
Is there someone else up there we could talk to?
No, now go away or I shall taunt you a second time-a!

OUCH...first the indecent proposal,,,, now you really open the wound

I've bought and sold a lot of blades trying to find the perfect user, one that was perfectly comfortable to use and carry. My holy grail turned out to be a pretty common blade. Well...1 of 301. :)

The BBSHSHBM Proto Thing......THAT is my Grail!!!!

I know where 3 are..........and that hope holds me over for each passing day!

For me, right now, they would be an INFI SHBA, a BA III, and an INFI SHSH II. Few and far between. Pete

A "Grail" to me is something that: 1) I've had to look long and hard to find, 2) a lot of other people want, 3) is usually not cheap, and 4) very few are made, if not a one of a kind.

A grail is a nice pretty set of teeth, or is it grill....

Heck I dont know what it is!!
