What Feature Do You...

im starting to think that the rpk is going to need a bottle opener...... see the hest has spoiled me!

first production knives i've owned with symmetrical grind lines,
only other knives I've owned besides my little uncle henry lockback and opinel that were built without marketing in mind.
built like products were 20 years before I was born with materials and tech from now.
a company that just does what it claims, no more, no less.
designed by guys who worry about it working, not looking "cool"

Craftsmanship, durability, form, function, warranty, and last but not least the RAT community.

quality craftsmanship at a low price
innovative sheathing
the maker next door attitude of all involved in the company

#1 - The extraordinary customer service, which sets a standard in business
#2 - The blade profile, which is beautifully balanced

The design, durability, price, attitude of the company and their made in the US!

As CRR said...Everything! :p

But in no particular order here are some of the many things I love about them:

1) Best people in the business.
2) Best community anywhere on the net.
3) Fantastic carefully thought out designs that provide real-world solutions for real-world problems.
4) 1095 High Carbon steel holds a great edge, is tough as hell, and is easy to sharpen and customize.
5) Full flat grinds make me really happy. :D
6) Guarantee allows me to really use my knife hard without getting nervous about destroying my investment (which is important since I'm not exactly rich)
7) The sheaths are just as amazing as the knives! What won me over to RAT in the first place was the injection-molded sheaths. So many great fixed blades exist out there that come with crap for a sheath. If a company isn't going to do it right and force me to have a sheath custom made they can at least just not include one at all so I'm not paying for a piece of crap. ;) The RAT sheaths do it right: Tight fit, smooth withdrawal, versatile carry options. What's not to love? :D
