What films to allow when?

Our firm is no longer taking on capital projects in South Africa, focusing on West and East Africa. Also Angola. We have 90% Zimbabwean contingent as qualified South Africans are very hard to get. Zimbabweans need to feed family north of the border. We are also reviewing moving our Sandton Office to our Botswana office. Tax is lower, the money is real, and a couple of our big clients from West Africa have been recently robbed at gun Point and would rather fly (own aircraft) into Gaborone than risk a repeat hijacking. This is several billion $ totally avoiding South Africa.

They just don't get it, hijack investors and they never return. They have just caught the syndicate operating from the airport in collusion with people working there. We are averaging a violent incident/week amongst our staff.

As far as my family, getting my mother out of Zimbabwe and into Oz is a priority then we head to UK/Oz.

I am currently fifteen, and my parents kept most of my life extremely sheltered. Then I turned fourteen, at which point I was able to watch almost whatever I wished, adult films are never going to happen of course, but I won horror movies last November. Base what you let your kids watch on there maturity level, and do not tell them that is the reason.

Thanks guys, I think it is very difficult for kids these days (look to the UK and their paranoia) the state is placing a wedge between generations. They are redefining normal according to political correctness. I never wanted my sons to be little men but capable boys with their toys. We often try too hard to define our children with the things we were deprived of, me Smarties, chocolate and Lego, my wife always being short of money on a farm in the Karoo.

I have always thought that raising girls as little pink Barbies is the biggest traversty since the term Genocide was coined.

Let your kids watch what they want to watch as long as you think they can handle it. I stay away from horror movies by personal preferance. As for hero movies, I don't think they build a rely on a hero mentality. They normally portray someone who can't defend themself being rescued by someone who can.

I was checking out what's on tv tonight and one thing I saw made me think of this thread!
I WOULD ABSOLUTELY NEVER AND FOR NO REASON ALLOW MY KID TO WATCH brokefag mountain, GAG A MAGGOT TO DEATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who, how, and why some sack of crap had to make a flick about homo cowboys is beyond me!
