What fixed blade did I just buy?

I recently ventured into fixed blades. I purchased what I thought was a JK knife last week. It was described as a JK knife in an unknown pattern. I've had many of JK's knives and don't believe this is one of his. After a quick Google search I believe it's a Blind Horse knife but not sure on model etc. I contacted the seller and he assured me it is in fact a JK.
I'm just looking for a bit of closer on who made the knife. Furthermore I'd love to find out what model it may be. If any more pics are needed let me know.
-Maker?
-Model?
-Steel type?
-Is the hole in sheath for something?

Definitely Blind Horse in O1, unless the newer Battle Horses have the same symbol which I would highly doubt, don't know the specific model though.

Also, if that sheath is original, it is not a JK. He uses waxed non dyed thread 99% of the time, single row stitching and no rivets.

Also, that is Not a JK makers mark.
He does 3 locations/types of marks; "K" on left side of knife, near spine; "K" on left side of knife, near blade, on rare occasions he will number knives (often only 1-10) for special runs.
- The mark near cutting edge on ricasso is also often reserved for special runs.

Thanks guys! I would've bet my paycheck it wasn't a JK but felt bad questioning the seller. Hopefully someone more knowledgable in BHK will come along and tell me what model I have.

I am pretty sure that's a Blind Horse Frontier First in 01...

What's the OAL?

Bill beat me to it. It's a BHK Brumby. Blind Horse Knives split and turned into two different companies, L.T. Wright And Battle Horse Knives.

Definitely someone's user, whatever it is. Looks like it's up for a lot more!

The classic trademark (BHK on the horse) is awfully definite. Blind Horse Brumby is a well-known, hi-quality knife.
I don't know JK.
I would guess that the hole is used to secure a belt-loop.

Awesome!
Blind Horse Knives Brumby lite in O1 tool steel. Unless I'm missing something I still don't understand the hole in the sheath. It's a horse shoe logo with a "5" and a hole underneath it.

It would have been where the belt loop would have attached is my guess....

Im gonna go with the hole being there to release pressure so the knife goes in and out without that sucking action that comes from in and out motion..

Or perhaps a drainage hole.

A 0 in a 50?

Cool knife. I like that toxic blond one in the vid.
