What Flashlight to go with My SAK

I have the Vic Handyman, which is 91mm, and I recently bought a Vic pouch for it. When the pouch arrived, I saw that it was wider than the knife and had an elastic strap on the inside that looked like it could hold a small flashlight or a metal match or something like that. I'd like to put a small flashlight in there, but it can't be over 3.5 inches, and can't be much thicker than a AAA battery. Any suggestions?

Check out Peak LED. I carry one of the CR123A models with my SAK (Although not in a pouch like you describe) but they make AA and AAA models too. I;m very pleased with it, Ive EDC'd it for longer than any other light.

Steer clear of the Mag Solitaire its too dim, you would be better off with a photon

I agree with josekym. I carry a Led-Lenser V8 Turbo every day together with a Victorinox Spartan or Climber. Led-Lenser has plenty of models to choose from.

Lots of great options. What's that many posters here say? "Why not buy more than one?" I agree. Thanks for the ideas and links.

If ya can afford it try the new ARC aaa from Peter Gransee, I don't go anywhere without mine, here's the link:

ARC AAA
The ARC AAA-Premium is a great little LED light -- probably the smallest, best built AAA. It is favorably reviewed here:

I didn't want to wait the 6 to 8 week backlog if ordered direct from the manufacturer. So, I bought an ARC AAA-Premium for about $8 more from this dealer: http://www.lighthound.com/sales/arcaaa.htm

My wife has a Dorcy single AAA LED light, reviewed here:

It's not nearly as well built as the ARC and is physically larger, but the Dorcy is a great value for $6 (at Walmart).

Looks cool. What color light is the LED?

Fenix L1P if it's not too big, otherwise an Arc-P AAA.

Or wait for Peak's highly anticipated 1w Luxeon AAA light.

Another vote for the adjustable brightness Doug Ritter Photon, Awesome light at a great price. Beware of the CPF white wall hunters....and the $50.00 + keychain lights.:p

I ended up getting the Arc-AAA, which looks like a great light. To accompany it, I'll be getting a photon light. I saw the Doug Ritter light, and I'll probably end up with that one. The clip is just too handy to not have.
