Bone collector is a great one, but it's a difficult choice. Normally end up with that stockman, but every once in a while one of the others sneaks in.

this is spending a lot of time in my pocket. ZT0560. brick sh!thouse build:

How do you like that Cold Steel Spartan? I need a large size 'don't F with me' folder to carry on occasion and was looking at that one longingly.

I like it. The grip fits my hand nicely in any fencing grip. The recurve is very slicy and I have used it alot for carving and cardboard. It locks up tighter then a bank vault and doesn't budge. I have chopped and battoned it through 3 inch in diameter hardwood and coconuts. Its a great overall knife. The only complaint that I could have about it is it does not hold a shaving sharp edge for long. It holds a working edge for a long period of time and touches up really nicely but after you cut anything after sharpening it won't pop hairs. AUS8-a is tough and a little soft but I've slammed the edge into concrete while splitting twigs and there was very minimal damage.

I would recommend it for what you are looking for. Size wise, while open its about the same length as my BK2. With that being said it is large in the pocket. I carry mine left side rear pocket and like the one hand wave style opening. They can also be found for a good price new or secondary if ya look around. I got mine on vacation in Florida at a gun show for $70.

Hope this helps :)

Exactly what I needed. I think that sells me on it. I wouldn't be using it much but sounds like exactly what I need for quick access on trail or in a city where I'd feel unsafe and unable to quickly access a fixed blade.

today (and for the rest of the week) it's a Remington Tango clip point in N690

I rotate between an XM18, a Gerber auto, and a Spyderco PM2. Then I have several SAK's and an opinel as well. They all get pocket time.

I just picked up a Kershaw Cryo G10 recently. Great blade, has become my go to EDC. Although I've been eyeing a ZT 0350 the past week or so....

I'm gonna Dig out my PE , tanto point kabar mule folder from the storage unit next weekend. I've got a BM mini grip aswell

I'd like to get one of those and the Cryo II blackwash. And most of the other new Kershaw knives that just came out. :)

My Rat 1.
Had it for about 2 months now. Love it:

Has pretty much replaced all my other EDCs.
