John's Whisper folder is carbon steel and, although I don't have one and it's not the prettiest knife I've ever seen, it's reportedly very tough.

Emerson Commander and Super Commander, Strider SMF, Several Benchmades, Spyderco Waved Endura, Spyderco Manix, Sebenzas. And put in a Leatherman for good use.

I carry a Cold Steel Recon 1 with tanto blade. The locks on these knives are pretty darn strong. I use mine all the time and it holds up great.

I EDC a Benchmade mini griptilian. OD green of course. I just snagged a Strider
SNG and that soon will become my new EDC.
