What folders do you consider "Fast"

Slow is smooth and smooth is fast.

Which nice feels the best in hand. Balance, swiftness, etc == fast in hand.

Fast I meant to move, which would mean changing grips as well but even more so moving once you have it in grip.
The way it balances and the resulting way it feels not to hinder your hand speed.
Some knives I own are excellent cutters and workers. (maybe they do grip transitions well , too) But, they lack that feel in hand that the people mentioned in this thread. They often have a clumsy feel compared to the ones I mentioned.
Maybe it is even something of a preference and body type and what one would find graceful and speedy, another would find award. In fact from the answers it seems that very well may be true.

My ZT0200 feels really fast in my hand, and it may be since it is a regular carry and also that I tear them down, have three of 'em, and do a polishing job on the pivot area, then use Miltec when I put it back together, and need to factor in the heavy blade. Also something about the fit of my hand to the handle is just right for me to get it open fast. My Strider AR is also this way and benefitted from a tear down&polishing, coupled with the heavy blade, it just snaps out of the handle.:D

Now that I've got more of a grip (HA!) on the question I feel like I can answer it properly. Fastest in hand knife I own would be a M/A Socom from Microtech. It feels good in any handling position and you can change grip on it very quickly due to the large slim handle. It's a well balanced knife that just feels right in the hand.

My Benchmade Dejavoo feels great in everything. Thrusting and slicing feel very swift, there is no lack in hand motion or speed with this knife. Its no slouch to open quickly either!

Seems most people find a long thinner type folder to be a better mover.
I know some were a bit confused by this, but slicing air and moving a knife fast is something I always try as soon as I get it. Many I find impressive and there's just as many don't have the right feel.
I carry a knife hiking and with me all the time everywhere else and even though the possibility of ever needing it to defend my life is rather remote (against man, or beast), I still like to know how a knife feels for rapid movements in hand.
I take comfort in having a sharp well made knife with me all the time (so much so I feel really lacking without my knife), it's just a part of the satisfaction in owning the knife to feel I'm carrying one that moves well for me.

The ones that feel fast in hand, you pick then up and you can feel it.
Balance and speed. Moving them in hand is effortless and most the ones I find to possess this quality are long and thin.
Here's a pair that I find "fast" with the G-10 Police having a definite edge due to it's gripper handle.

Benchmade 710 is another one that has fine balance

Wont matter, im not fast.

The ZT200 is fast IMO. It indexes very well and I can seamlessly switch between grips. It isn't light but the handle shape makes up for it.

I find the Spyderco JD Smith to be very fast in hand. Primarily because it is a little handle heavy. I believe that is by design. The nice thing is you can loosen your finger grip and the handle stays put in the palm of your hand as you move it around. The blade does not feel like it will tip out of your hand at all. I agree with many other's mentioned here too.

I prefer the Darrel Ralph Mad Max,or Cuda Max spear point designs.
They're based on fencing swords and are well balanced, quick opening, has a double guard, superior tip control, the handle shape has room for different grips and you have reach and penetration over most other folding knives.
They are flat and carry well for the size, the handle is a titanium frame lock, the steel is D2 which is tough but won't stain or rust with minimal care.I've carried mine for many years and I'm happy with it.
