I'm always reading about the different generations of the LCC's. I'm not a big MT fan but I do love my LCC. Anyway, its a D/A with micarta scales and has 11/2000 stamped on the blade.
I'm in the same boat as you, not a huge MT fan but love my LCC.
When I bought mine they were going through a changeover from Titanium Bolsters that were grey and Aluminum ones that were Black.
I don't know if this is considered a generation or not (I would consider it one).
IMO the titanium is much nicer looking so I made sure that was what I got. Some people said the titanium ones scratched easy but I've not had this happen and I carry it 3-4 days a week.

ignore the micarta and look carefully at the screw placement and length of the bolsters as well as what the bolster are made of. Gen 1 -3 had titanium, gen 4 anodized aluminum. Gen 1 had shorter bolsters. The only difference between 2 and 3 is screw placement (how far they are located from the bolster.)
Thanks again Lomic, I didn't know until now which one I had but now I do and it is first generation. I still think that this is one of the best production knives ever. My favorite for now.
I had one like that and sent it back to Microtech to get it turned into a Gen 3 on both sides as I like the Gen 3 better than the Gen 2. In my opinion, yours is a mistake, but not the only one and would actually be worth less to me.
