Whoa remster135. Yes, there is a litany of back posts on this subject but we have new people posting with their own ideas, and new people requesting information. All has not been said on this subject. I think we should be a bit tolerant of those bring up "previously thrashed" issues and give them the benefit of the doubt.

Ok..I see your point, but....those who are new to this forum should learn to utilize something called "search" shown in the upper right hand corner over there ^.
When I got here back in Sept I was ripped for asking a question that was "beat to a bloody pulp" and was critisized for not using the aforementioned "search".....so, sorry, I messed up. Maybe it was in bad taste to assume that everyone was tired of the same question over, and over, and over again. For that I'm sorry. Am I forgiven?

The one thing I have yet to see on the net is a magnesium rod to use as a quick fire starter. Is this better than matches? I saw one in wal-mart?
ALSO, do you guys think it is more important to carry a topical antibiotic (like neosporin) or an internal antibiotic? and don't these degrade over time? AND aren't they illegal to possess without a prescription?

Thanks for the info and links. Actually I do use the search feature quite often (and did so in this case too). However, Im a believer in reevaluation and figured as such, that someone may have an update to the previous posts. Going forward, I will specify that I require further information on any previous posts, if that is indeed the case. With luck, this should alleviate any issues that should arise.
