Does anyone happen to know? Unfortunately, all I can find are cheap tinfoil swords or "reproductions," and I'd like to build a small scale model for a friend.

Most other notable sword cultures seem to have developed the convex edge rather promptly; I would imagine the Chinese to be no different. Of course, I could be wrong.
