Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'm not sure what I will do yet, but I have a lot of food for thought here. Some of you have seen my other thread about my screwed up band saw motor too. I am starting to look around for a 1hp motor for it too now. So I am looking at those too.
I got a quick peek at the shop set up for Caribou Knives on Friday evening. One of the things that struck me was how compact, organized and put together the shop was. No wasted space. That grinder I posted is not a space saver! When I look at some of the other 2x72s they would take up much less of my garage. I think I am going to do some more research.
