Are you looking for trappers, stockmen, sowbellies, sodbuster style, peanuts, canoes, just what appeals most?

I like the medium stockman and canoe patterns. I like wharncliffs and hawkbills, so the pattern can at times take a back seat to the kinds of blades offered.

Ohhh boy. It changes so often, but I always to back to my canoe.

Canoe
Stockman
Gunstock

Like all three:thumbup:

Stockman designs are my favorite, most 3 blade designs. The whittler, congress and stockmans with the leather punch appeal to me as well. I like most of the other designs out there, but for now, the 3 blade stockman would be my favorite.

Right now, Trappers with a Wharncliff instead of spey blade. But it changes so often it's almost not worth casting a vote. :)

After that it would be sowbellies, canoes, stockmen.

Thanks for asking!

As of today...I like the Wharncliff trapper, 4" stockman with a clip and a wharncliff blade instead of sheepfoots blade, sowbelly, modified saddlehorn, back pocket, new millenniun trapper..see any Bose thread being carried thru???:D

Trapper, Congress and Utility/Scout, to me these are the most eye appealing and comfortable.

If I go by aesthetics only, I'd say the Lobster Patterns were the most eye appealing.

Swell center split backs, single trappers, swaybacks, stockman.

In that order and in stag or bone an no larger than 3.5" closed. But I'm really up for anything that catches my eye. ;)

Tough question. All mine are different styles. My favorite to use is a Barlow. My favorite to carry is a Whittler. I'm expecting my first Muskrat today...my previous statements may change.

I am partial to rounded bolsters. Many Stockmen seem a little to squared on the ends for my liking.

For a big slipjoint, I like the Toothpick but I recently got a Moose with clip and spear blades that works nicely. I am no longer interested in multiblade slippies as I was when I was younger.

Great pattern; slim and sharp with those long, thin blades. One Turkish clip and one wharnecliff looks good, too!

I like curves in my handle patterns. Swaybacks and Serps with wharnies are my favorites as a rule. (not a hard and fast one though.)

I forget.. "You know O.A. setting in"...I also like lockback whittlers!

Thanks for starting this thread. A ton of great ideas out there!
