ZT can of course do more than a few sprint runs that will attract much attention, 0200, 0452, 0561, 0850, etc. Maybe begin to make a skinny 0562.
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is ready to order! See this thread for details:

ZT? Who or what is that?
It's called sarcasmZero Tolerance knives.
There are a lot of people on this site who's vast majority of knives are safe queens.I agree ZT has become a man-jewelry company. The original "tough, hard use" vibe captured by their earlier models has been lost. I'm not sure it makes sense to pump out sprint runs of man jewelry.
Thought I would jump in and give a factual answer to the OP's question. The reason we have not seen sprint runs is because ZT currently can not keep up with demand for the massive number of knives that they have ordered from dealers right now. While everyone likes to bash some of their new models, they have sold, and sold quite well. We re order a good number of the ZT0990s and 762s about every month. ZT also is still making very popular models like the 640, 308, 562CF, 562TI, 450, and 452CF. We have been out of 562Tis and 452CFs for a couple of months and have had them on back order for over 4 months. We just recently were able to get a decent restock of 562CFs and 308s. ZT will put out more knives in 2021 than they have in the history of the company. Lack of sprint runs is do to lack of time. Hoping we will see some in 2022!
Hope this helps for those that wanted to know
That's awesome! 0308 looks like a great overbuilt folder and its a newer model. Hoping to get one soon. I got discontinued 0804 off forums last week and its one of the best action of any ZT I've owned. Thanks for the insight Whitty, Kai might be successful with the current models but the move away from the "hard use zero tolerance" vision has diluted the brand.
That said I love the 0308 (got the stars and stripes one from USA Made Blade) and I will continue to purchase more in that vein along with more classic models from the exchange, FB, and eBay.
