What happened to MONTROC knives?

I have the same knife. Montroc went out of business a few years ago, I'm not sure of the whole story, but I'm sure someone on her knows. One of the partners is now involved in ENTREK knives, making knives that are very similar to the old MONTROC line. The Ronin is kind of outdated by todays standards, 440c, hollow ground etc., but mine has held up extremely well.
