What happened to Santoku ?

NoFair what's the way? I know a guy resending staff bought in US to PL, but he charges a few bucks for his service

I got John at Lighthound to get them for me... I will then pay him for it like a normal order when he gets the final price. It might be a bit more expensive in the end, but I really prefer using Lighthound for online shipping. His prices on normal stock items is very good, but I don't expect that when he has to go through a lot of extra to get me these discontinued items.

I did order more than a Santuko to make it more worthwhile....

It might be easier if you know somebody in the US to have them get one for you. You could also email John at Lighthound in case he can get more, but he said it wasn't easy so I wouldn't hold my breath;)

I have 2 and they are great kitchen knives......but not for slicing potatoes.
Potatoes adhere to the blade with great force. I'd like to try a homemaker to see if the scallops keep this from happening.

I have one of the originals and love it. When the wood handled examples come out I will have to snag one.
