I was reading that there were different skins a couple years ago. what happened to these bad boys? Dont get me wrong i like the blue and white but i think some dark grey or silver(blade color) would be nifty.

The problem is that these older skins kept getting replaced over and over again when new forums upgrades came out. That's since been fixed as an issue, but it's a pain in the ass to have different skins for various subforums and it's (IMHO) a minor thing. If I get time in my millions of things to do, I may get back to it one of these days.

The Spyderco forum needs that Military back in the upper left corner. It's been missed.
