What happened to the Ugly Knife Contest ?

I used to get a big kick out of the ugly knife contest on this forum , what happened to it? They used to come up with some funny stuff .

I just got a Bud-k catalog, and its so full of over-qualified ugly knives that how could you
judge one out as THE ugly knife.
Although the scorpion arm band knife thing dose stand out.

For those that don't know, the ugly knife contests were about people posting the ugliest knife they had made themselves. It was all in fun. Sometimes there were clear winners.

Oh yeah! those were dog crap! Even $5 was too much for those lame, soft shivs. (they were low carbon and weren't HTed too)

Hold on, I've got a contender for ugliest handmade knife.



Yeah, it's a 1/4" thick while only being 9" long.



There's also some scaling on the back of the blade that I couldn't get rid of, but I didn't get a picture of that.
