This was a small Canadian knife magazine from Noah Walt circa 2004. Anyone know what happened to it?

I never heard of it until now. While that doesn't really mean anything, it kind of does. Perhaps it just didn't get the following it needed to stay in business?

Magazines of all types are having a difficult time these days due to the internet. How many people here would be buying magazines that they don't currently buy if the internet went away?

He used to post regularly some time back over at Prac/Tac.

If I recall correctly, he had some difficulties with Canadian customs over some of the knives he was selling. I don't know hom much that affected his operations but might have had some other personal stuff going on.

Cool guy. I wish Noah the best.

Noah had a hard go of the magazine. He and his wife tried to do most of it themselves, and fell very far behind. My wife and I offered to help with editing, and give opinions on layout but to no avail. He got swamped, and dropped out of the martial arts scene for the most part (I heard something about his youtube vids but it was second hand). Last I heard he was working as a mechanic, and was talking about only holding a seminar or 2 per year, however this was around the time I broke both legs and had to quit martial arts (at least for the last 3 years). He and his wife were/are passionate about the martial arts, so I am sad to not see them any more.

That is my perspective on the matter- I think some posters on here still get in touch with them and may be able to tell you more.

I appreciate all the responses here. I had been going through some of my old magazines and came across the one issue I had. It's really too bad, it was a good mag.

Necro thread! Funny thing is I was thinking about Noah and this thread in particular for no apparent reason during work on Friday!!! Spooky......
