What happened with secondary prices?

I'm actually developing a knife golf course where you take your bag of knives around to 18 holes and cut rope at one and make a feather stick at another.

A lot of interest!

How do I get a piece of this action? IPO? SPAC? Please don't tell me it's too late. This is a billion dollar idea. Okay, maybe million dollar idea, but still.

The Slysz Bowies started going up when it was discontinued. Not sure why it's only gotten higher but maybe people just really like the knife.
This is my idea.
I've had several of these. This knife is unlike any other that I owned...several hundred.
It's a wonderful thing.

I can only imagine what limited edition golf clubs must cost. Never mind how much a sprint run golf ball is going for today.

As a member of the "I rarely spend over $100 on a knife" crowd, I don't have the problem that many of you have. My self imposed budgetary constraints eliminate a good chunk of the knife choices out there.

I'm also pretty good at fighting impulse buys and the like.

I'm not sure who's worse (not true - I do know)...the people that buy releases before stock catches up with demand (talking regular stock items) and immediately sell them at an increased price, or the dumbasses that impulsively buy them at over retail rather than wait for the next batch that IS coming.

The sad part is that smarter buyers would effectively eliminate a lot of the seller shenanigans.

You are not normal, knife normal anyway. :) You have obtained a level of consciousness that we are still striving for, well done,Grasshopper.

GEC, over the few years I have on this site has gone nuts. I may have five examples. I like other knives better. They all have flaws but some incredible fit but their finish lacks. It’s a rarity if I carry one. they definitely aren’t safe queen quality. The prices are inflated by many variables In this economy. My $139 dollar 2013 BF knife was a crap design (after a few years of sharpening the blade will be too thick behind the edge) and mine poorly made. My wife liked it, and I gave it to her. Pretty for me only goes so far. Not worth price increases in secondary market. ^ the economy is on the way to the deep six. Barter your knives away for a piece of bread.

The number of original Slysz Bowie’s on the market has really dried up. I’ve been looking for a nice example of one for a while. Seeing the prices explode makes sense. Many are settling into collections and not returning to the market.
