I didn't know that the Boss Jack was one of the "Crazy Competition knives", I thought it was just one of the BOSS Series knives like the BOSS Street and the BOSS HG55 that you said were going to be released. The thread on the "Crazy Competition knives" contest, says it could be "...a modified versions of past designs or entirely new ideas....", it just seems to close to the original design to have come from the contest. Well, hopefully the other teams came up with more "Crazy" models.......

MMB, SInce only the first team has released their offerring, and the other three teams havent had a chance to compete yet.

THe way I read it there is no way to determine the winner yet.

Don't worry the Boss will bring it :thumbup:
 
The Gladius was not a competition designed knife rather one of Jerry's old designs that managed to fight to the surface of his consciousness and survive the booze onslaught long enough for it to be turned from theoretical design in actual blade.

Now to see what the next release will be, maybe for Knob Creek or a Christmas type ganzaa?

There are 4 teams and therefore, 4 chances at winning. If a team uses a design that has not been suggested, then NO prize will be awarded. Each team will decide whose post inspired them the most and will pick their own design winner."

It says "If a group uses your suggestion, you will receive a free knife from that offer", it isn't taking about the winner of the four team contest, just if they use your design for their entry, you get a free knife. So, it looks like Chuddy Bear would get a knife if the team was inspired by his suggestion, they could always say they had already made it their choice and his suggestion came afterwards.


Note: I see Soulrack223 must have been typing the same time as I, we are saying the same thing.
