What happens if you break the tip of sebenza?

Well the reason why there are not many broken blades is that "low hardness" of the sebenza heat treat :)
 
I would think it would become a tanto...by default.
It wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing to have a blade, shorter than 3", in a large Sebenza handle. It makes the knife legal in some jurisdictions where my relatives still live, and would allow me to legally carry the larger grip, which I need so badly in the Sebbie. Perhaps I should write the head office...
 
Some do, there are a few who claim the hardness of crk is less than optimum, not me. Those who complain are not knifemakers like crk, but armchair experts :)
