What happens when a detent

The detent ball was replaced with a new one. Carbide was applied to the lock face and the lock bar tension was adjusted. New washers were installed and the knife was cleaned and oiled.

Doesn't yours have a steel insert? Why would they carbidize the lockfaceo_O
 
Glad they got it back to you quickly. I have seen a few detent balls fall out over the years. It is rare but it happens along all brands.
