What happens when a lockbar migrates completely to the other side?

It's not ideal, I don't recommend it, but I did do it with fair success....if possible, remove the lockbar and hit the end with a hammer a couple of times

I doubt ZT titanium is weak... more like too thin and long, i can quite easily push my 804 lock over all the way, it sits around 50% normally

My large ti-lite also sits at like 90 normally... bit worrisome

I had an odd problem with my Lionsteel TS-1 where the lock simply lost tension at about 40% and i got blade play there... infuriating

More modern folders have the lock positioning down to the exact detail/meaurements, CAD proofed, assuming parts are molded correctly. Positioning will be different design time design, distance between parts, hardness, any intended play.

Older folders, not so much. Just fitting the blade into the handle would've been good work back in the day.

Angled tang end and matching lockbar? At 66%? Nerd.

I had never given this much thought. With a frame lock like a Sebenza the lock up can be adjusted at CRK with larger stop pin and some knives (TSF Beast, BM 761) have asymmetrical lock pins that can also be adjusted to change lockbup. Lock up could be adjusted by adjusting the lock up of thumb studs on an XM-18, possibly by adding rubber O rings just like a CRK Umnumzaan
