...and forget about it when you return to the shop?

It HURTS, that's what happens!

Luckily I heal fast :)

Thanks for looking!

Och! Its one of those things you do only once.

The looks of that just gives me a real weak feeling. Healing fast will be a good thing.
Ken

Looks nasty man. What did you put on it?

I'm glad you didn't take it in the gut. I worry puncturing something "squishy"...

Man that smarts. Makes my hand hurt just looking at it. That is why I try hard not to walk away from a knife in the vise. If I move I always leave a hand on the knife so I don't bump it. Or bend over I don't hit my head on it. If I have to leave beyond arms length I take it out. Only forget once.

Ariel,

That really should have been sutured. The healing time would have been faster and there would have been less risk of complications. The hand is particularly vulnerable to infections. I'm glad it seems to be healing well though.

Dean, I hate stitches as they hurt me BAD at night and don't let me sleep.
I've had my share of similar cuts and this method works pretty well for me :)

Well it seems to work for you. Be more careful though if you cut the palm side of your hand. This can be really bad news because of the open space between the tissue and the proximity to the ligaments.
