What has happen to the Emerson Knife Forum

Hey gang! Long time no see. I hope everyone has been well and is enjoying the holiday season. I pop in from time to time to keep up with any news. Sadly, life has kept me very busy until this weekend (I'm away with the Army if you can call that a break). I'm sure things will pick up. A lull isn't always the end.

Yeah sometimes it's info overload. I have made a few friends and actually thanks to certain groups I was able to meet up with them at CCKS this last October. Also a great place to pick up on some great deals.

This forum seems to be relatively drama free lately. The high end collectors left over 10 years ago to start another forum, and that place has a higher energy level for the oohs! and ahhs! pictures of emerson collections.

I am glad this one is still here. The quality out of the Emerson factory is better than ever. Maybe that's why there are fewer trolls and complaints.

EmersonRep is doing a great job which he probably doesn't get paid for. Good on him!

I feel a large reason for the lack of posts is due to social media. Most cutlery manufactures have there own facebooks with pictures and reviews. And I also feel that a lot of the people that bashed the company for so long have finally given up and moved on to other forums, and found new things to complain about. Personally I love emerson knives, I love the feel, I love the pride in carrying something solidly built. i hope more forums pop up with updated pics, and hopefully see some that have been used and abused for a good 10 years. Thats the good stuff, seeing a knife that has been put through the test and asks for more. a lot of the other forums deal with 1000+ customs that never get carried. I want to see some scratches, chipped blades, and maybe even some blood. LOL. I love seeing knives being used for what God intended.
