My Gen II Howler was looking pretty nasty. The worn and chipped coating had to go. I decided to remove the coating over the weekend and got carried away.

Did the same thing to mine a while back but its not looking too pretty these days. More like a steel shaped knife with a oddly pretty handle.

Thanks everyone. I'm not quite finished with it yet. I still have some work to do at the tang where it meets the Res.-C. It was kinda rough there and I didn't want to tear into the handle.

I'm thinking about adding some thumb grooves and my own version of the penetrator tip.

Got files. And belt grinder. Take of sides and angle till a point forms. Can't get any worse.
