What have I done?!?

I made a giant sharpmaker that holds 12" stones. I use a digital clinometer to set the proper angle. I have seven large stones that cover the grit spectrum. I clean the stones in USP mineral oil and wipe off the excess oil with a rubber squeegee. The coarse Silicon carbide stone (100 grit) makes short work of establishing a basic taper (bevel). It helps to count strokes on each side to keep the edge centered.
