what have i found?!?!?

i was in a local gun store recently. ive never really trusted the owner anyway, but last time i was in there i notices a couple of tomahawks hanging on the wall. they looked like cold steel trail hawks, were stamped taiway, but each had an american tomahawk co. sticker on the head. so, what are they?
 
Most likely, they ARE Cold Steel Trail Hawks, stamped "Taiwan", with an American Tomahawk Co. sticker on the head.
 
so, i was brousing the cold steel site, and discovered that atc is now part of cold steel. i had no idea, but now i understand

Say what?! Link, please. I wanna read this for myself. I was under the impression that ATC has been standing pretty well on it's own two feet for quite a while. Why would they need to sell themselves to CS?
 
From what I understand, ATC is its own company and CS has copywritten "american tomahawk co.". There was a thread about this recently but I may not be entirely correct.

You're on the right track. ATC and CS are not the same company nor does one have anything to do with the other. You will find that CS does have rights to the name and does label their product as such.
