The only thing so far today i have used my SOG Trident folder to open a package containing a Swamp Rat Knife Works Battle Rat! :D

The only thing so far today I have used my Spyderco Chinook II folder to open a package containing a Benchmade 14200. lol:D

I used my LG Seb today to cut open several packages, cut 3 fan belts in half and spread PB&J on some wheat bread for lunch.:D

Cut some food and opened a box.
Whatever I need, Spyderedge works great.

used my wave to cut my toenails, my scallion made a good wood marker (you never can find a pencil in the shop when you need one), my 732 did a really good job of freaking out some nameless person of little consequence.

Used my fully-serrated Spyderco R2 to remove the plastic wrap and tape from a new CD. Later used it to cut-up a delicious Tuscan ribeye at a local Italian restaurant. :p

I read this post in the morning and had nothing to say as I hadn't used my EDC's yet.

Now, late at night,

-Used EDC SAK (Handyman) to cut some foods, make sandwiches, tear down some small boxes, open mail, tear some tight, plastic seals off bottles (used the pliers)

-Used small Classic to clean/ trim fingernails

--Used BM 710 to chop large onions, lettuce and other large foods, to tear down big boxes

Well, today I am carrying my Spydie D4...Used it at work to open some boxes and the packages inside. Sliced up an apple at lunch. This evening used it to open up some boxes of shelves with heavy plastic strapping, tape, and styrofoam inside. Then I opened the new package of dremmel polishing bits I purchased to turn the black pocket clip into a silver one...then I sharpened it back to hair popping sharp. Now I'm trying to figure out if theres something else that needs to be cut up before I go to bed:thumbup: :D

I want to know why everyone cuts food with their knife...I couldn't see myself doing this as it makes the knife nasty and I would be afriad to get something sticky in the hinge or something.

I use my knife almost daily for food, usually some sort of fruit at lunch. It never makes my knife nasty. I usually clean the blade prior to use, and once after. If I get anything down in the pivot I usually just give it a good wash when I get home with soap and hot water, let it air dry, add a little oil, and its perfectly fine

Well.. last night I went to the bar for steak and shrimp night. They gave me a dull butter knife to cut up my steak. It was a horrid battle, so I decided to break out the weapons of mass destruction! My waved spyderco endura made short work of that steak (first time I've ever had to use a folder to eat a meal).

Just gotta be careful and give the blade good wipedowns before and after. I use my SAK or Delica to slice up Canteloupe all the time. Ii'm careful not to touch the knife with a hand that has canteloupe juice on it and don't let the blade go so deep the pivot touches. Works nicely.

I cut a length of trimmer string this morning while doing the lawn then I opened a case of bottled water. All with my BM 551.

Opened a bottle of Baby Aspirin (keeps those heart attacks away). A bunch of mail. Cut up some cardboard boxes for recycle and some polypropylene master bags holding bundles of fiberglass insulation.

All done with a BM honed razor sharp.

PS. I probably shaved a little hair and sliced some paper just to show my prowess with the Edge Pro;)

Cut open a mailer box containing a beautiful black & blue Benchmade 46BK-601 using a visciously sharp silver Victorinox KL 92 Dutch Army knife.

Best,

oregon

used a bm 720 to trim the strings on some venition blinds, open some mail,& cut some spearmint plants.....
