I went up on the mountain to cut firewood yesterday,I was hoping to get 2 loads cut.I was on my way out with the first one by about 10:30 and figuring that I was doing pretty good but my eyes were going one way and my mind another and I got tangled up with a stump.I had left it high when I cut the tree last winter so that I wouldn't have trouble seeing it,it was just high enough for the bumper of the truck to go over it and the tie rod and front axle took the impact,I was only going about 5mph or so so it wasn't much impact, just enough to ruin the rest of the day.The last picture is of the truck with the tires headed in the same general direction and the stump taken care of.Sorry,no knife content,my skeletool CX did assist in the repairs but I didn't get and pictures,I did end up walking back home to get the parts and tools that I needed to fix it and coming back with the S10.Just remember to pay attention out there.
