What I got for Christmas.

sass, Buck started using the flap over sheath in 64 w/ 'Buck' on the snap. That makes your 119 earlier. You should look at the end of the pommel on your 119 and see if you find a circle. DM

Here are some better Pictures. The snap doesn't have any markings on it.

Thanks for these additional photos. It could still be mfg. in 1963. They changed manufacturing practices in May 1963 and the barrel nut was
dropped. I have a 102 in my display w/ a barrel nut and it has a sheath like yours. And it's spacers look the same as yours. DM

No knives for me this christmas. I'm in the middle of moving to a new house, so everything is packed up (except a small daily rotation containing a buck 112 and a buck strider collab for work around the new house). We don't really do much gift giving around christmas either, and even if we did, no one is into knives as much as I am.

That said, If I have any money left to spend after the move, I can spend it on the new 2018 models if I want. This thread has convinced me I'm entitled to give myself a few late presents. :)

maybe I can haul all my buck knives to the the bcci sale in july in dat truck huh!!!:p;):):D:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
I found one mike!!!!!!--------------ha just kiddin!!!!!!!!!

My son got me the Selkirk folder for Christmas. It’s a nice knife and it’s razor sharp. I’ve already put it to use.

Well after giving Bucks for Christmas I got lucky and got one! My son in law gave me a 373 and to tell the truth I don't mind if it's a China Buck or USA. I was really tickled to receive it.

I got gifted a Buck 898 Impact auto, it's going to get carried a lot and used. Broke it in on some cardboard...S30V did great. Preston

Besides sticking it in the dirt, cutting paper is the fastest way to dull the blade...

Yes, and I can think of a few others...it was a job that needed to be done and the 898 did it well. I touched it up on the Sharpmaker and all is well. Preston
