What I have learned it takes to be a HOG!

Allright Guys, you pack of buggers:o:o. Seriously the thanks goes to all of you:thumbup:!!!

Great pics there Dan:cool:

230grain, Bro you keep up the modding and I'll be sending you something to do!!!:p

Well I read it. It took me three drinks to get through it, and I don't drink. You're a good guy Dan. BTW, Rusmo is one of my favs too.

Hear hear, Dan! I agree completely; I'd also like to add:

No one here knows me personally, but I believe I built some friendships by virtue of my dealings here that would far outweigh many acquaintanceships I have made man to man. I have had Hogs--again, people I don't know from Adam--go out of their way for me at shows, going so far as to buy things for me and ship them to me without receiving payment first.

Just the other day a generous Hog replied to a PM I had sent him months ago about a holster he made. He told me that the gun he'd made it for had been stolen, and he offered to send the holster to me. When I asked if I could send him some money he said no way. Not only is the holster a fine example of meticulous and highly functional design, but it means so much more to me because it was a gift from a hog brother.

One day I came home from a rough day at work to find a box on my doorstep. I opened it to see that a Hog brother from across the country had sent me a box of fine Cuban cigars. It was a complete surprise, and a wonderful gift to a man expecting his first child.

Countless others have given advice, offered assistance, and just been there to lend an ear.

Truly, it makes me proud of myself to know that my words here have garnered the type of respect and friendship they have. Need proof? Look at my "Smoke Requested" thread.

The Busse family is an important part of my life. I'm glad I'm accepted here and hope to one day meet the people who have made my life better, more enjoyable, and less burdened with needless wealth. ;)

One love, people. This place rocks.

And to my friends--you know who you are--I love you guys. Seriously.

No homo. ;) :D

This is definitely the friendliest forum I've been on. Everyone here has a good sense of humor and are willing to answer my silly questions

Thanks Jerry, if I make it to Blade 2010, I might cave in and have at least one drink with you and the crew:)
Yea after reading it, I know this was too long. Anyway, the whole point in this thread is that after someone got banned here, I thought about myself. To most that member was pretty cool to most of us, to me he was anyway. And I know Busse was an important part of his life. I was reflecting and a while ago, I was getting infractions for stupid things and thought I was going to get thrown off. Then I got to thinking, it could happen to me also, and if it did, what would I do. I think lots of you take this forum for granted and I try not to. There are lots of great people here, and I look forward go going though the forums and the search button is key when your somewhat new like me and need to find info. So pretty much what I'm saying is lots of stupid things happen on the internet, don't fight about it, let it go, it's not even worth it should you get thrown off. Yes there are other forums out there but it's not even close. And that's the exact same words from an ex member I had talked to. After BF, he said he pretty much lost interest in knives and had gotten rid of most of them. And that's pretty much the reason for this gay thread!
:)

Dan--- I'm glad I met you in Easton. :)
Yer lucky I liked your post or I would've kicked yer azz.
:D

There seems to be a common thread of making and helping friends.

I know I have made friends here and they helped me on many knife and life issues. In that Hog spirit, I try to help my friends any way I can.
